We magnify the Lord for the life of Sarah, who came from Honduras to follow the call of the Lord. At the end of the postulancy she asked to be admitted to the novitiate of the Monastery of Mount Carmel. She wore the habit of Carmel on 28 April, Sunday of Mercy with the new name of Sara Teresa della Madre di Dio. In fraternal joy we wish you peace and blessing for the continuation of your journey, living on the Holy Mountain for the glory and honor of God.
We magnify the Lord for the perpetual profession of Sister Ferial del Bambino Gesù, originally from Bethlehem. The profession was celebrated in the Carmel of Bethlehem on 17 May. The celebration was characterized by joy, emotion and thanksgiving for the life of Sister Ferial who thanks to her perpetual profession as external nun of Carmel, wants to be a living witness of Christ’s love for his community and his people.
Let us magnify the Lord also for Sister Mary Magdalene of the Merciful Heart of Jesus, of the Pater’s Carmel, who made her first profession on June 28, Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the 130th anniversary of the return to God of Mother Maria Xavier of the Heart of Jesus, founder of the Carmel of the Pater.
Let us magnify the Lord for the fraternal help promised to the Carmel of Fayoum in Egypt. May the Lord make fruitful the generosity of each one!
Let us magnify the Lord for the celebration of the first centenary of the death of Saint Teresa of Jesus of the Andes which opened on July 13 with a solemn rite in the Sanctuary of Auco, Chile.
Yes, the Lord does great things among us! By inviting us to live with the Virgin Mary on the mountain of Carmel, he leads us to discover the wonders of love that he wishes to spread in the world, using our poor lives offered. We thank him for all his wonders!
