Living in regions with a great diversity of denominations and rites connects us, in the depths of our hearts, with Christ’s great prayer for the unity of all his disciples. Our Carmels are communities of sisters from diverse countries; they are also « laboratories of unity » at the service of the Church and the world, prophetic signs of « universal reconciliation in Christ » (Constitutions 87).
